Keane resigns from the position as Assistant Manager of Villa
Taruhan Bola Online – Roy Keane finally decided to resign from the post of assistant manager of Aston Villa. He claims to be too heavy to bear two positions at once: as assistant manager of the Villa and the assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland national team.
Keane was appointed as assistant to Paul Lambert at the Villa in July 2014. At that time he had already taken a position as assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland national team. Only five months as assistant Lambert, Keane chose to resign now.
“In the end, my job at the Villa and Ireland, by combining my commitments in the work, it has become too heavy,” said Keane as reported by Sky Sports.
“It’s not fair to the Villa or Ireland, so I made this decision. I would like to thank Paul has given me the opportunity to join in this brilliant club.”
“I really enjoyed my experience along with Villa and my best wishes for the future management teams, players, fans, and also the club.”
The difficulty Keane bear two positions is also justified by Lambert himself. While CEO Villa, Tom Fox, turn gave thanks to Keane.
“We would like to thank Roy for his time with us and wish the best for him along with Ireland,” said Fox.
