Natural Debuchy Shoulder Dislocation, Stock defender Arsenal Thin
London – convincing 3-0 victory over Stoke City will be costly for Arsenal. Mathieu Debuchy suffered a dislocated shoulder injury and make the Gunners defender stock too thin.
Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Stoke through two goals from Alexis Sanchez and a goal from Laurent Koscielny at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (11/01/2015) night.
But these three points, leaving the problem for kids north London. Only 11 minutes of play, Debuchy get a severe injury in his shoulder after crashing into a billboard and is expected to be absent for a long time.
“He suffered a dislocated shoulder. It’s hard to know how long he would pull over, you need a diagnosis from a specialist,” said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told Sky Sports.
“We do not know, but he’s obviously not going to play next week. Kieran Gibss also still have swollen ankle,” he added.
Injury Debuchy makes Wenger did not have much choice in the rear sector, especially in the central defender. Given Callum Chambers and Kieran Gibbs is also enter the treatment room, then there are only three major players are fit. They are Per Mertesacker, Koscielny, and Nacho Monreal.
Wenger did not deny his team shortage of players in defense.
“Monreal and Debuchy can play as a central defender, but if Gibbs can not perform then Monreal could not play as a central defender. And if Debuchy can not play then he can not be lowered as a central defender. It is a position where we are less players,” he said.
